HEATH DRIVES TOWARD 40% ANNUAL GROWTH IN NORTHERN COLORADO CONSTRUCTION

FORT COLLINS, COLO. – With the horsepower of Denver-based Saunders Construction behind it, Heath Construction is on track to grow by more than 40% this year.  According to Heath President Randy DeMario, this rapid expansion reflects the business community’s growing confidence in Heath’s new partnership with Saunders Construction.

“Saunders acquired a 50% stake in Heath and immediately began investing in our future,” said DeMario.  “With a huge infusion of technology, training, added bonding capacity and ready manpower, we are able to expand much faster than any mid-sized contractor could, relying solely on organic growth.”

Heath remains locally managed, locally staffed, dedicated to the Northern Colorado construction market and guided by DeMario, who also owns 50% of the company.  But now, Heath has all the resources necessary to tackle larger and more complex projects than ever before in the company’s 40-year history.

“We’re constructing two multi-building projects associated with the Stanley Hotel right now,” said DeMario, “including a magnificent, 48-unit luxury hotel and a wedding pavilion overlooking the town.  Together with other large projects, such as Sierra Trading Post’s immense distribution center and the High Plains Elementary School in Loveland, our work program is as exciting for our staff members as it is for our customers.  With a great diversity of work – and much of it in the form of large, complex projects – we have opportunities to match the strengths and interests of every Heath employee.”
