FORT COLLINS, COLO. – The Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) has named Heath Construction in Fort Collins, Colo., one of America’s Healthiest Small Companies.

Heath is one of only eight organizations nationwide – and the only Colorado company – to receive the Small Businesses Well Workplace Award in 2013.

The award, based on WELCOA’s 10 steps to building a healthy small workplace, acknowledges Heath’s dedication to employee and community health and wellness through its Wellness Program. The WELCOA honor is the second for the program. In 2010, Heath Wellness received top honors from the Associated General Contractors of Colorado for such a progressive and comprehensive Wellness Program – a model of how Colorado construction firms can broaden benefit packages and more successfully recruit new employees in today’s competitive job market.
