ANOTHER LOCAL PROJECT WIN FOR HEATH CONSTRUCTION: HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE IN FORT COLLINS

Posted On: December 4, 2014

FORT COLLINS, COLO. signs-home-tea-with-senior– Heath Construction’s strong community focus was a leading reason Home Instead Senior Care selected the Fort Collins firm to construct its new 7,000-square-foot administrative and training facility in Fort Collins.

“We wanted to partner with a firm that’s as deeply committed to our community as we are,” said Mike Maguire, president of Home Instead, which provides in-home care that enables seniors in Larimer and Weld counties to remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

Located on Boardwalk Drive in Fort Collins, this is the latest win in Heath’s vast portfolio of local projects in Northern Colorado. When completed in the spring of 2015, the facility will house administrative offices and a comprehensive training center for Home Instead’s professional caregivers. According to Maguire, the Fort Collins facility eventually will offer training and support for family members. Training will include meal preparation, bathing and grooming techniques, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, and other basic support skills needed to provide quality care to family members.

“By giving seniors the option to remain at home in a relaxing and supportive environment, Home Instead plays a vital role in our community,” said Randy DeMario, Heath president. “Heath is similarly committed to enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages in our community.”

Heath’s community focus is evident in its recent partnership with Saunders Construction, one of Colorado’s largest and most successful construction firms. The partnership allows Heath to continue focusing on local projects while tapping into Saunders’ resources to increase its capacity and secure larger jobs.
